About Viral Stories

Viral Stories is a response to the COVID-19 crisis by Stori, a content marketing agency led by Trina Everall and James Longhurst.

Having worked with the higher education sector for several years, Viral Stories is our small way of showing our support.

We think UK universities will be at the heart of fighting, resolving and recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic. Ultimately getting the country and the people of the UK back on track.

To find out more about Stori, our work and how we can help your institution get in touch for a chat with Trina or James.

The value of universities and their purposes have never been clearer.

They are at the centre of the solution to COVID-19 pandemic, developing research, donating equipment, and supporting local communities. They are the pillars of society that we need now more than ever before.

There are so many incredible stories being shared across various channels at a time of chaos and news overload. We want to create a home for these and archive the life-changing and life-enhancing contributions that UK universities are making.

We have created this website for universities and the communities they impact, to capture as many of their stories as possible.

We want to become the home for, and archive of, all the innovation, research and community action that our universities and their people do during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.

Universities will be able to keep abreast of how other institutions are responding to a particular topic, they can use the website as a resource when collating information for research gathering and promotion and it will help with future marketing strategies when demonstrating the value and impact of UK universities.

Viral Stories is very much a work in progress – we would love to hear how we can improve it, or if you’d like to help then get in touch.

“We’re delighted that ViralStories.co.uk has been developed to amplify and act as an archive of the great work that the sector is undertaking.

We look forward to seeing the website develop and reflect the contribution of the Higher Education sector to the national effort.”
